Powell River is a remarkable place to call home. We have strong neighbourhoods, passionate volunteers, local businesses, community organizations and people who care deeply about where we live.

We also have important decisions ahead of us.

How do we keep our community affordable? How do we support housing and economic opportunity? How do we maintain the infrastructure and services residents depend on while being responsible with taxpayers' dollars? How do we strengthen transportation connections, support a safe and healthy community and plan thoughtfully for the future?

Our next City Council has an opportunity to bring people together around those questions.
